The Look for the Learning podcast is a conversation series about how the things we do—especially our hobbies, interests, and day-to-day activities—shape how we lead, learn, and live.
Each episode brings together a small group for a reflective, story-driven conversation. The format is best described as: curious mind meets master mind. We explore how hobbies, interests, childhood activities, and everyday moments can hold powerful lessons in leadership, learning, and personal growth.
It’s inspired by the kind of learning that sometimes sneaks up on us as leaders and facilitators and ends up becoming part of the analogies and metaphors we use to teach and grow. Take, for instance, how learning chess as a kid may have taught strategic thinking, how playing in the marching band cultivated awareness and peripheral vision, or the lessons that come from teaching a child to fly a kite—or learning to ski as an adult. These moments often carry lessons in patience, problem-solving, leadership, or persistence—even if we don’t recognize them right away.
