Casting Call

Be Our Next Guest on Look for the Learning

Do you have a hobby, passion, or journey that’s shaped the way you think, lead, or live?

We’re looking for guests from all walks of life—musicians, athletes, parents, entrepreneurs, gamers, creators, adventurers—anyone with a story to tell and a lesson to share.

This isn’t just another interview. It’s a conversation between experts, where leaders in Learning & Development explore unexpected insights with people like you—people who have mastered something, messed up something, or learned something worth sharing.

We want to hear:

  • What’s your “zone of genius”?
  • What did it teach you?
  • How has it shaped your leadership or your day-to-day life?
  • What lessons can the rest of us take away?

What to Expect

  • Length: 37-47 minutes (edited) The actual conversation could go on longer
  • Recording: In-studio or virtual (we’ll confirm your setup)
  • Format: Conversational, story-driven – not an interview
  • Host: Artrell Williams
  • Co-Guest (sometimes): You may be paired with a learning professional or “apprentice voice”
  • Release Schedule: Bi-weekly episodes

Conversation Framework

We follow a reflective storytelling arc:

  1. What? – What did you do? What’s your background or story?
  2. So What? – Why did it matter? What did you learn from it?
  3. Now What? – How does it influence your leadership, life, or how you help others learn?

Sample Prompts We May Explore

(These are not formal questions – just ideas to guide our journey)
– What do you do in your professional life?

  • What’s your zone of genius, and how did you discover it?
  • Share a couple of concepts or lessons about your ZOG that many people do not know.
Tell us about a formative experience or failure that taught you something lasting.
  • How does your experience influence how you lead, communicate, or problem-solve?
What strategies or mantras guide you?
How do you share this wisdom with others – formally or informally?
